We try to evaluate changes required for any organization by systematic procedure for enhancement of organizational model to provide successful growth rate.
1. Identify the need for change and recognize whether it is due to internal or external forces.
2. Develop goals of the change in terms of products, technology, structure, and culture.
3. Select a change agent who will take leadership responsibility to implement planned change.
4. Diagnose the current climate of the organization by gathering data and preparing people for change.
5. Select an implementation method by using networks of people and organizations, visiting other organizations, and using external standards of performance.
6. Develop a plan that notes specific events and activities that must be timed and integrated to produce the change, and delegates responsibility for each of the goals and objectives.
7. Implement the plan and maintain momentum for change by providing resources, developing new competencies and skills, reinforcing new behaviors, and building a support system.
8. Follow the plan and evaluate the actual results to determine whether the goals were met. Change should produce positive results and not be undertaken for its own sake.
